‘Pin’

‘Pin’

Condensed watercolor, ink, paint marker, hot glue

5ft x 8ft on mixed media paper, sketch paper on wood paneling.

‘Pin’ is the 5ft by 8ft of my teenage dreams. After using condensed watercolor once in high school, I’ve known that id like to come back to it on a larger scale one day.

‘Pin’ often operated as my diary, a way to hold on to a moment, a space for therapy notes and a home to any of my feelings that needed a place to land.

I’m so proud to have followed through on cultivating a dream that young me planted, and proud when I take a step back to see so many emotions, so much growth and so much time all in one place.

This work was on display at the ‘Figure Swarm’ gallery held at the Center for creativity

Put together by Juno Lazare and I.

As well as at front range community college.

Thank you Jakers for helping me transport the beast, and to the friends who helped me strap it to my roof of my small car on the days he was unavailable <3

Remember to be so sweet on yourself and to create!!
